We have been able to endure this painful journey because of the outpouring compassion from our family, friends, neighbors, the Levittown community and the surrounding communities. We have been comforted by the care and concern that you have shown since Daniel's death in Iraq.

On April 6, 2007, our family circle was broken as we received the news that our son, Spc. Daniel A. Fuentes was killed in action, Baghdad, Iraq. In service of our country. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, deployed out of Fort Riley, KS.
